What happens when it hits 74 degrees?

Yes! It hit 74 degrees today :) Spring is definitely in the air and I'm loving it!!! To start the day off...we took Teddy to the groomer for a MUCH needed haircut. Now he looks like a little Easter lamb!! He feels so much better and we feel better having him snuggly and soft!!I actually got to open some windows and let the lovely warm breeze in...and yes, it was heavenly!!
Mickey didn't even want to come in....He just sat out there and almost looked like he was smiling. I would yell and he ignored me. Apparently he was enjoying the day too!!

This was also possible....which was really nice!!
Surprise Lilies coming up :)
Blooms on the lilac bushes :)

And some pretty crocuses....my daffodils are looking pretty good too...and I can't wait!!
Sam hasn't been doing very well with his Tourettes. His tics have been the worst ever. Vocal tics that are at screaming level. Body tics that are quite powerful as well. His peds. neurologist had us double his medicine....I can't tell that it's helping yet. They told us to give it a week....We're still hoping and praying. I've not been getting on the computer too much. I give myself a time limit and try to hop around and visit when I can. I felt like my family has to come first. So, I've been trying to spend a little more time off the computer :) I've been thinking of all of you even if you haven't heard from me. I do sometimes peek around and not leave any messages if I'm hurrying :)
With today's warm weather comes thunderstorms tonight...I am sort of looking forward to hearing the thunder...it's been a while :)
The flowers appear on the earth: the time of singing has come.
Song of Solomon 2:12
I'll try to not be gone so long again :)
With Love, Jerelene

Hi Jerelene,

Sounds like you're as starved for spring as I am! I have had the windows open a little bit too and I just love the smell of the air. It's wonderful! This seemed like it was such a long winter.

I'm sorry that your son is having a hard time. I will keep him in my prayers. I can't even imagine how difficult that would be.

Take care, you!

Jill

Hi Jerelene, I am so sad to hear the Sam is not doing so well. What a horrible disease to have and it really is a test for you and your family. Probably not so much for Sam because it is all he has ever known. I know he is a special spirit that God has plans for and someday, hold on to that thought, someday, those plans will be so wonderful and he will touch so many lives through his having to deal with his Tourettes. It is so hard for us mothers to have to see our beautiful children go through challenges in life. BTDT and still doing it with my grown children. It seems like it never ends, but it will. Just keep the faith and we will continue to keep praying for you and your family. hugs...

The picture of the open window with curtains blowing in breeze and the one with the clothes on the clothesline were particularly encouraging to me! I (like everyone else) am SO ready for spring.

Thinking SO much of you and Sam (and your entire household). I'm such a "fix it" person and SO wish I could be the one to point you to a cure or control. Praying for your doctors to have a special interest in Sam's case. Praying that you will continue to research and discover and advocate on his behalf.

Take care of yourself and find rest and relaxation "near to the heart of God".

So sorry that Sam is having such a hard time, Jerelene. You are in my prayers, nothing weighs on a mother's heart more than the health and happiness of her children being threatened or the thought of them having to suffer.

I'm glad your weather has been a little better, at least that's something.
I have similar pictures of the crocus cropping up on the brown grass out front (with snow still on the ground!), I haven't been able to post anything though because our cable/internet service was down all week. Ray finally got fed up and switched companies, but now I'm having email problems.

Well, in comparison to real problems, email and blogger problems are nothing to gripe about.

Take care, Jerelene.
It was nice to have a visit here.
Love to you,
Eileen

I did open my windows too and it smelled so good! I have noticed all of the buds as well, makes me want to get busy in the yard! I hope the extra meds start to help Sam some more. Seriously, I can't remember the last time we hit 74 degrees here in Tampa. We should anyday now. I love the picture of the towels on the line. Drying laundry is a comfort to see. I don't know why people think it's an eyesore. LOL

I can't wait to open my windows and air everything out. It's still a little cold for that here. I know spring is coming though. We have seen robins. I hope you have a lovely week.
