~The Little Things~
As you might remember, the head of a company survived 9/11 because his son started kindergarten. Another fellow was alive because it was His turn to bring donuts.. One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off in time.. One was late because of being stuck on the NJ Turnpike because of an auto accident. One of them missed his bus. One spilled food on her clothes and had to take time to change. One's car wouldn't start. One couldn't get a taxi. The one that struck me was the man who put on a new pair of shoes that morning, took the various means to get to work but before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot. He stopped at a drug store to buy a band-aid. That is why he is alive today.. Now when I am stuck in traffic , miss an elevator, turn back to answer a ringing telephone ... All the little things that annoy me. I think to myself, this is exactly where God wants me to be at this very moment... Next time your morning seems to be going wrong , the children are slow getting dressed, you can't seem to find the car keys, you hit every traffic light, Don't get mad or frustrated; it may be just that God is at work watching over you. May God continue to bless you with all those annoying little things and may you remember their possible purpose.

THE PARROT FLOWER

This is a flower from Thailand. It is also a protected species and not allowed to be exported. This will be the only way... to be able to view this beautiful flower

WHO BUT GOD...could do this?
Can you find Jesus in this picture? Look hard!!

Safe in the arms of Jesus,

Safe in His gentle breast,

Here by His love o'ershaded,

Sweetly my soul doth rest.

Such a beautiful post, Jerelene. I loved all the pictures, and the 9/11 reminder, life is precious, there are no mistakes.
Thanks for sharing the flower, and I really liked the last picture and the especially the words following it.

Jerelene....I wanted to pop over and say "Yea!!" for the award you received today. It looks like Jayden had fun getting it.
Sam is adorable...and Teddy and Mickey are huggable. Is Teddy a Maltese?
Again...congrats! That was much fun...almost as much fun as guessing Marcy's occupation. I'm still waiting to see what she posts that she did earlier in life...sigh. She's keeping us waiting

Rec'd those great pictures in an e-mail, but never saw that incredible parrot flower...WOW, thanks for sharing that as well as your own insightful post.
How true that we should be thankful no matter what happens as it may have saved our lives OR someone elses'! Hard to remember that at times though...guess that's why I'm still
God's work in progress.

blessings and hugs,

marcy
