Loving My Life as Wife, Mother and Grandmother

A quick note..

Just a quick note to everyone...I've not fallen off the earth or anything:)
I've just had so much to do and not enough of me to do it all..so the blogging has kind of been set to to the side for a bit. The tomatoes are now coming in like crazy so I am fixing to start canning. That and a few pickles.
Mark got a call last night and didn't get hired for either the full or part-time. The guy that called said they would probably be hiring some more part-time's in a couple of weeks after school starts and not to get discouraged..We are discouraged...greatly:(
I'll try to get back on tomorrow and visit everyone and post something worthwhile. Right now I just don't have it in me...
All of my friends that are wanting to pen-pal...I've not forgotten you. I think I just need a day or two to kind of absorb this and then I'll be able to get back with everyone..
Love to everyone....
Jerelene

Jerelene, take your time, and take care of yourself.
I know how you feel. We have a situation here at home that is kind of draining the life out of me too, and then I don't feel like doing much of anything except getting into a cocoon.
I think it's good that you need to be so busy with the fruits and vegetables, it keeps your mind occupied a little.

I'm very sorry to hear about the job not working out and I'll be praying that it just means there is something better waiting down the road.
Love and Prayers,
Eileen

I'm so sorry. I'm sure you are discouraged. Do you have some friends "with skin on 'em" who can give you and Mark a huge hug? I hope so!

Your garden is incredible! Add your tiredness from all the canning, baking, etc. into your situation and you must be exhausted mentally, physically and emotionally. Listen to your body and take a break when you can. Put others to work. Sounds like Mark pitched in. What a sweetie.

Hi Jerelene,
I am sorry that you are feeling discouraged right now but things will turn around. I know it in my heart. Just keep your chin up and keep busy and soon something will come along.
Also don't worry we have not forgotten about you. We have been very busy here too with getting ready for school and Katie babysitting. We registered her last night so she is now officially a freshman! She is excited and worn out too.
I will keep praying for you Jerelene. I will keep praying for all of us! Hugs and more hugs to you!

Oh Jerelene...wish I could give you a GREAT BIG hug right now! Last night as Michael and I were praying I once agwin prayed for Mark to get a great job and told Michael that he hadn't gotten the one we were praying for. So Michael asks me all over again all about it...sometimes I wonder if he hears ANYTHING I say and at other times I am so sure he hears...NOTHING!! So I just have to laugh it off and then tickle him for not being a better listener!

Staying busy does help and you are also helping your family financially and that is yet another plus! But please don't wear yourself out!

blessings and warm hugs,

marcy
