Kidney Stone..

A very short post...I just got home from the hospital. I was admitted Saturday morning with a kidney stone. I knew I'd been under the weather...and I kept thinking I was trying to get a bladder infection for the last couple of weeks. Well it progressed into unbearable pain on Friday and by Saturday morning I had my Dad take me to the hospital. The cat scan showed a kidney stone in my left ureter. On top of that my hemoglobin is extremely low. It was 8.3 when I left the hospital this afternoon. I still haven't passed the stone so they've sent me home with a cup and strainer to strain my pee. I probably won't be on for a while...I'm going to try to rest and take it easy...which is very hard for me :)
Sam is still sick too....he's been coughing quite a bit. Please continue to remember my family in your prayers. It seems when it rains around here..it pours....
I'll try to check in with a post in a day or too..if I'm able..
Love to All.........Jerelene

I have heard of grown men passing out from the pain of passing their kidney stones, but I guess we women have had to always bear up under more pain and seem to take it better.

BUT I do not want you to have ANY pain, my sweet friend, so I did pray tonight and will continue to pray for you and for Sam too.

blessings and healing hugs,

marcy

You are missed. I keep comin' over to see what happening - and now I know! Seems there is a LOT of pain and hardship going around.

I pray that you will soon pass the stone, that Sam will be back to good health, and that you will be surrounded by flesh-and-blood people who can lighten your load.

I had to pass a stone once, not fun at all.
You are in my prayers, Sweetie.
Rest. Take care of yourself.
Drink lots of cranberry juice (it really helps!).
Love and Prayers,
Eileen

Just popping back in to let you know you are in thoughts and prayers, sweetie pie. Drinking cranberry juice (like wise Eileen mentioned)is wonderful for all things with the urinary system...my sweet mother drank it faithfully all the time and she eliminated almost every problem she had been having.

blessings with prayerful hugs,

marcy

Eileen I am so sorry that you are feeling so badly. My daughter suffers from Kidney stones which have taken her to the ER on several occasions. They just come and go. She wishes she could have a baby instead of a stone(s). She said that having a baby is much easier for her, like in one hour, and then it is over with instead of lingering for days! YES, drink lots of cranberry juice! Hope you feel better soon! hugs...

Hello Jerelene...I am looking at the photo of you and Sam on your sidebar as I type this...
You are a sweet and loving Mom...and I am sorry that you are suffering with those miserable kidney stones. I want to send you a special wish for a speedy recovery. Here's a message for those pesky stones: Be gone! Leave Jerelene alone. Take care, Jerelene. I love you.

Checking in again....Sad to think that your absence may mean you're still fighting those stones - but praying it isn't so.
