Yummies!!

I thought I'd show everyone a peek of what my table has looked like the last several days..

Which leads to this......(and yes Eileen, that is your pretty pink present on my table..I sit and look at them while I'm working :) They make me smile!

Which then turns into this....Greek Cucumber and Tomato Salad. My sweet friend Kim sent me the recipe. I made it this evening and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!

And this...Zuchinni Lasagna...
And this..was homemade coleslaw with cabbage from our garden...it was Very good!

Just for fun I thought I'd show a picture of the wall above my table....(you guys know I LOVE cows :)
So while trying to eat all these yummy delicious dishes, this is what is standing next to me with his little feet on my knee...

He's just SO cute...it's hard to get upset....He loves veggies and will eat just about anything you give him. The only thing I've found that he won't eat, is raisins...he licks them up and then spits them right back out :)

I wish you were all here...I would make a big picture of sweet tea and we could all chow down together !! For dessert we could have some orange sherbert...or we could go out back to the firepit by the garden and make s'mores. (that's what we did with Sam last night) They are so yummy!! We could tell stories and stuff our faces with chocolate and marshmallows!!

To close I'm going to show you the hydrangeas I picked this evening to put by the sink..(it makes doing dishes a little less painful.) Also, a picture of the sky here this evening in Southern Indiana...it was beautiful!!! Love and Hugs to Everyone!! Jerelene

This was a beautiful post, Jerelene! I really felt like I was right there with you! And I wish I was! Your food looks wonderful! What a bounty!

It would be fun to enjoy a meal together now and then! I do think we would all have such a good time together! And I'd love to sit out back by the fire and make s'mores, and roast marshmallows!

Mickey is so very cute!
And I love your hydrangeas, and I love your Indiana sky!
And I like all your cute cows too! Is that a cow teapot I see on the stove? Adorable!

Really nice, post, Jerelene, I enjoyed it a lot! And I'm enjoying your music (one of my favorites is playing right now ~ Amazing Grace).
Love you,
Eileen

Eileen, yes it is a cow-print teapot..it's not a full blown cow though..my aunt has one that is!
It was one of the first things I got when I started collecting cows. The very first thing is a cow bell that when you pick it up the ringer part is udders..it is hilarious!!
Jackie, I have a couple of chickens too...I bet your sisters pigs are adorable!!
Lori, you are just so sweet...
I do wish that you could all be here and that I could meet you and feed you :) I would have so much fun that the smile would never come off my face!! Hugs to all of you!!

Everything looks so yummy Jerelene! Too bad we can't eat at each other's homes, especially since I love to cook.

We have TOO many cucumbers...is that recipe really good for the Greek salad?

Loved your little piggies on your stove too. Are they salt and pepper shakers?

You are such a sweetheart, Jerelene!

Hi! I just jumped over from Eileen's blog! I just love, love your little dog! And your pix look O'so yummy! It seems when I cook, all of my animals come out of hiding too! :)

I see that you are also from Indiana ("Hoosier" is the proper term, but I'm a Purdue grad; therefore, not a fan of the red and white)! Ha!

I loved working on Mia's fairy work, and yes...I'm always up for boy art! I have 2 girls and now a 6th month boy, so it is quite fun getting familiar with "boy" art! :)

Thanks for your visit and comment Jereleen!
Why haven't I been here before? We must be members of the same the "Village" that haven't actually met. It's almost lunch time for me and your post made me even more hungry...We have similar tastes in food Jereleen...Is the produce from your garden?
I will have to follow and get busy reading your past posts.

Are your recipes forthcoming? I don't have garden except for a tomato plant and some leaf lettuce, but this morning Donna invited me to see hers! And I came home with some garden bounty that leaves me salivating!

Those hydrangas are just gorgeous. I'm going to try to grow one next year. The white ones around here are displaying HUGE flowers! It was good to visit you this morning. Happy Monday.

Back again...can't believe I forgot to tell you about the raisins. I have gotten several e-mails about the danger of raisins in a dog's digestive system! Now we don't even try to give TinkaBelle grapes. You can google raisins and dogs and find put about it, so it's wonderful of Mickey to spit them out!!

Marcy, THANK YOU!! I didn't know that..I knew that chocolate and onions were a no-no..but I hadn't heard about raisins. Gosh, maybe he is smarter than I thought! :)
