Weekend Pics..

The oldest one here (Sarah) decided to take the youngest one (Sam) to get this little guy.......
Introducing.....Swimmy, the Betta fish.....
Sarah took Sam on a little outing to the Petsmart store to get a fish...Swimmy is a Crowntail Betta. I think they did a good job of picking a pretty one..he likes to hide though..It was incredibly hard to get this little guys pictures. He is living in the blue room (Sam's room.)
I think he likes it there...so far so good...We don't have a lot of luck keeping the fish alive..Although Sarah had a Betta that lived for 2 yrs. Anyway...say Hello to Swimmy!

My new pitcher I got (brand new) at the local flea market for 2.99. I just LOVE it!

And here's what we had for supper last night!! Peaches and Cream corn...The deer didn't get it!!! Yeah :) It was delicious..and today I'll be freezing some too! Wish all the villagers were here to have some with me!
Oh yes...last night I took Sam to see G-force. It's the movie about FBI agent guinea pigs. (Special agents...) In 3-D...It was really, really cute...Sam had a good time. We stopped by for a Frosty from Wendy's and it was the perfect ending to a great evening!!

A beautiful addition to your family! I love Swimmy's colors! Very sweet of your daughter to take Sam on that outing ('love their picture!).
I really like your new blue pitcher too, it looks almost like a gem (really sparkles in the picture you took!), and the corn looks delicious! Wish I could be there with you to enjoy it.

Glad you had fun at the movie too. It sounds like you had a really nice weekend.
It's such a good feeling to just enjoy your family! Just something wonderful to savor.

God Bless!
Love,
Eileen

Well I started to leave a comment and then pressed the wrong button, silly me! Thank you for changing over to word verification Jerelene, I feel much better knowing that I can comment now! It was so sweet of your girl to get her brother a new fish! I love fish. But I have too many pets to get anymore. Someday I would like a bird! That pitcher you bought was fabulous Jerelene. I just got through cleaning out my china cabinet, what fun! But the glass looks so pretty when it's done. Loved your pictures! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hi Jerelene....You did a good job of capturing Swimmy's photo!
I would love to have had supper with you...uhmmm.....fresh corn...and peaches....smack my lips!
The crackled look on the pitcher is what caught me eye...as well as the color. Great bargain, too.
I'll be baaaaaaaack. :))

You need to have a talk with Swimmy about how the villagers all want to see him...think I will have to enlarge the photos to see for sure if I am seeing him or something pretty floating in the water.

That was a very cute picturei ot brother and sister.

As for that corn, I could make a meal out of the corn just by itself! Now, you've made me really hungry, Jerelene! Don't you have a problem with those awful corn worms? when I grew corn and shucked one ear and saw that gross worm I handed every ear of corn to Mario to take over...yuck!

What do the dogs think of the fish?

blessings and hugs,

marcy

Here in our garden, if the deer didn't get it, the raccoon would.

Years ago we surrounded the garden with a 6 ft. high fence...it kept the deer out, but not the raccoon...we were forever finding corn cobs all through the woods.
